Public Meetings Are Moving to Microsoft Teams
Beginning October 5, 2026
Ogden Valley City will use Microsoft Teams instead of Zoom for online access to City public meetings.

You do not need a Microsoft account to join an Ogden Valley City public meeting. How you join depends on the device you are using.
Joining from a Computer
Join directly from a supported web browser. No Teams app is required.
Joining from a Phone or Tablet
Use the free Microsoft Teams app to join the meeting. No Microsoft account is required.
How to Join a Public Meeting

Joining from a Computer

Find Your Meeting
Go to the City Events Calendar and select the meeting you want to attend.

Open the Teams Link
Click the Microsoft Teams link provided for the meeting.

Continue in Your Browser
Select “Continue on this browser.” No download is required.

Enter Your Name & Join
Enter your name, select “Join now,” and wait for the meeting to begin.
Joining from a Phone or Tablet

Install Microsoft Teams
Download the free Microsoft Teams app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Open the Teams Link
Tap the Microsoft Teams link provided for the meeting.

Join as a Guest
Open the meeting in the Teams app. You do not need to sign in or create a Microsoft account.

Enter Your Name & Join
Enter your name, tap “Join now,” and wait for the meeting to begin.
Where to Find Meeting Links
Beginning October 5, Microsoft Teams links will be included with each public meeting notice.
Meeting links are also available on the City Events Calendar at the bottom of the Ogden Valley City homepage.

During the Meeting
Once you've joined the meeting, the Teams meeting controls will appear on your screen. Here are a few controls you may use during a public meeting.
Microphone
Mute or unmute yourself when permitted to speak.
Raise Your Hand
Use Raise to let the meeting host know you would like to speak.
Camera
Turn your camera on or off when permitted to.
Leave the Meeting
Select Leave when you're ready to exit the meeting.
