NOTICE OF TWO SEPARATE PUBLIC HEARINGS
MUNICIPAL OFFICER COMPENSATION

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of Ogden Valley City, Utah (‘City’), will hold two separate public hearings during its meeting on September 15, 2026, at the Huntsville Town Hall, 7474 East 200 South, Huntsville, Utah.

The first public hearing will begin at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. The second public hearing will be separately opened and conducted immediately following the conclusion of the first public hearing.

1. Public Hearing-Compensation of Elective and Statutory Officers
The first public hearing will be held pursuant to Utah Code § 10-3-818(1). That section requires the compensation of a municipality’s elective and statutory officers to be fixed by ordinance adopting compensation or a compensation schedule enacted after a public hearing.

The City Council will receive public comment concerning the proposed compensation schedule for the following officers:

Elective Officers
– Mayor
– City Council Members (five positions)

Statutory Officers
– City Recorder
– City Treasurer

The proposed compensation schedule also includes compensation for the City Clerk, an appointive municipal officer established by City ordinance.

Following the public hearing, the City Council may consider an ordinance adopting the proposed compensation schedule.

2. Separate Public Hearing-Compensation Increases for Executive Municipal Officers
The second public hearing will be held pursuant to Utah Code § 10-3-818(2). The City Council will receive public comment concerning proposed compensation increases for the following executive municipal officers, which the Council may include in a final amended budget for fiscal year 2026:

– City Administrator, serving as the City’s chief administrative officer;
– IT Director, serving as the head of the City’s information technology functions; and
– Public Works Manager, serving as the head of the City’s public works functions.

The proposed compensation and compensation increases are shown in Exhibit A.

This public hearing will be opened, conducted, and closed separately from the preceding public hearing and from every other public hearing held during the meeting. Following the hearing, the City Council may consider adoption of the applicable final amended budget and related compensation measures.

Availability of Documents
Copies of the following documents are available for public inspection:
1. The proposed Compensation Schedule attached as Exhibit A;
2. The proposed ordinance adopting the Compensation Schedule; and
3. The proposed final amended budget reflecting the executive municipal officer compensation increases.

The documents may be inspected at the Ogden Valley City Office, located in the Huntsville Maintenance Building at 167 South 7500 East, Huntsville, Utah, and on the City’s website at ogdenvalley.gov.

Written comments may be submitted to the City Recorder at srobbins@ogdenvalley.gov.

Notice of Special Accommodations

The undersigned City Recorder of Ogden Valley City hereby certifies that, beginning on September 8, 2026, and at least seven days before the public hearings, the foregoing Notice of Public Hearings was provided pursuant to Utah Code §§ 10-3-818(1), 10-3-818(2)(b), and 63G-30-102 as follows:
1. Published on the Utah Public Notice Website at utah.gov/pmn;
2. Published on the official Ogden Valley City website at ogdenvalley.gov; and
3. Physically posted at the following public location within the incorporated boundaries of Ogden Valley City, where the notice is reasonably likely to be seen by City residents: Ogden Valley City Office, Huntsville Maintenance Building, 167 S 7500 E,
Huntsville, Utah.
